6-Hour Canning Extravaganza!

It was a delightful yet exhausting Saturday for the late night jam girls, joined by a new canning enthusiast who can peel garlic like nobody’s business. Vegetables came from the Shelton Farmers Market as well as Hindiger’s Farm in Hamden.

From this fury of canning arose 12 jars of kosher dill pickles, 15 jars of pickled corn relish, and 6 jars of peach apple salsa.  Recipes to come in the next few days, in rapid succession!
