Peach-Tea Vodka

I love peaches.  I don’t love how quickly peaches go bad, especially in the stifling heat that we’ve been having lately.  A great way to quickly halt that loss is to chop up some fruit and pour vodka over it.

Peaches + Tea + Vodka = Yum!


Into a 1.5 L swing-top jar:

4 Peaches, roughly chopped

About 5 tbps loose black tea in a filter bag (or about 5 bags of tea)

Fill to the top with vodka (I used Smirnoff).  All the tea to steep for 24 hours, then remove the tea.  Let the peaches sit for another two weeks (or until they lose their color) then strain and enjoy!  I recommend mixing with lemonade…
